TYPES OF CHARGING
Understanding different home charging levels
Level 11 can be done at almost any properly equipped home with a standard 3-prong wall outlet (120V), and it’s best for “topping off” after short trips. Level 22 is faster and requires a wall charger that can provide up to 19.2kW when hardwired to the home circuit panel (or optionally up to 9.6kW when connected to a 240V NEMA 14-50 four-prong appliance outlet).
