CAMI Assembly is Canada's first full-scale electric-vehicle manufacturing plant.
With investment support from both governments, GM completely retooled CAMI in record time to become the new global manufacturing home of BrightDrop’s fully electric delivery vans.
The first BrightDrop Zevo 600 rolled off the CAMI production line in December 2022, marking a new chapter in EV production in Canada and a significant step in the fight against climate change.
BrightDrop's mission is to decarbonize the last mile through smarter, safer, and more efficient ways of delivering goods and services and will play a significant role in GM transition to the electric, autonomous and highly-connected future we see ahead.
