A Collaborative Effort

Getting communities plugged in. EV infrastructure starts here.

GM is a founding member of IONNA, a joint venture formed to create a new high-powered charging network, with a targeted installation of more than 30,000 chargers in urban and highway locations throughout North America.

GM is committed to investing in an EV ecosystem that helps ensure widespread access to charging for EV drivers. Part of that commitment is to collaborate with other companies, such as FLO, to accelerate the deployment of vital infrastructure and expand charging availability in residential, workplace, and public areas.

EXPANDING PUBLIC CHARGING

Access thousands of Tesla Superchargers

Cadillac, Chevrolet and GMC EV drivers now have access to more than 17,800+ Tesla Superchargers across Canada and the U.S. with a simple adapter. That means more charging options at your fingertips and access to DC fast charging when you need it most.

Level 2 Charging

Level 2 is the most common charging speed available. On most EVs, Level 2 chargers can generally deliver between 11 to 64 kilometres of range per hour3 of charging depending on the type of charger installation, vehicle, battery condition and ambient temperature.

Benefits
•
Charge while you're at work, out for a day of shopping at the mall, staying overnight at a hotel or at your apartment complex.
• Pay by the charging time or kWh used.

DC Fast Charging

DC Fast Charging is great for a boost or when you quickly need more kilometres for a road trip. Depending on the type of charger installation, vehicle, battery condition, ambient temperature and the power output of the charger, drivers can expect to add up to an estimated between 24 – 1604 kilometres of range in as little as 10 minutes (350 kW DC fast charger required for highest output – extremely limited supply).

Benefits
• Currently the fastest way to charge.
• Pay by the charging time or kWh hours used.
• Plan your stops while on an extended road trip or when your battery needs a rapid charge to get you back on the road faster.
