INSTRUMENT PANEL
An intuitive instrument panel cluster display bears an 8-inch diagonal screen with reconfigurable gauges, multiple display modes and real-time performance data. A centre console entertainment interface features a retractable, tablet-inspired 8-inch diagonal touch-screen complete with customizable applications. An available enhanced colour Head-Up Display complements both by projecting critical data into the driver's line of sight on the windshield. A robust control panel tuned for performance driving.
SEATS
Redesigned, stitched and wrapped in available Napa leather, the standard Grand Touring seat cradles the driver for optimal comfort and support. A lightweight magnesium frame and secure side bolsters hold the driver more firmly in place. An available Competition Sport seat provides maximum support and fit, with more pronounced side bolsters designed for high-performance driving on the track.
STEERING WHEEL
Designed exclusively for Stingray. Hand-wrapped in natural leather, a smaller, race-inspired 360 mm diameter steering wheel enhances grip and driving feel. Driver controls await command. Steering wheel-mounted paddles initiate Active Rev Matching for manual transmissions or manual shifting for automatic transmissions. A discreet, flat euro-stitch lends a subtle but crafted feel. ALUMINUM SPACE FRAME
One-third the weight of steel, an aluminum space frame changes everything. Improved rigidity enhances cornering performance and handling. Segmented aluminum rails enable tailored gauge, shape and strength properties with minimal weight. Fifty-seven percent stiffer and 45 kilograms lighter than its predecessor, the Stingray emerges lightweight, quiet and confident.
JOINING PROCESSES
Intelligent bonds forge a precision aluminum space frame. Subassembly laser welds eliminate heat distortion to execute smooth, localized joins. Robust patented spot weld technology efficiently bonds sheet aluminum. Crash-toughened adhesive enables one of the most rigid aluminum joining methods available, complemented by innovative Flow Drill Screws that extrude, form and tap threads simultaneously for maximum engagement and holding power. Strategic execution of cool joining processes minimizes inconsistencies and maximizes bond strength.
CARBON-NANO HYBRID
Carbon-Nano Hybrid technology surrounds the underbody structure of the vehicle. Carbon-Nano Composite weaves carbon and glass fibre with nanoclay to reduce vehicle composite mass by 4 kilograms — yielding panels with a specific gravity nearly equal to water. Light, stiff underbody panels attach directly to the frame, rendering the vehicle more rigid and responsive.

TESTING
Because drivers must perform with confidence, the prototype is pushed to the limit. On the track, in the lab and onscreen. We break it, fix it and try to break it again. Rigorous testing allows Stingray to innovate, adapt and overcome convention. Reinvention for rapid departure.
REAL-WORLD TESTING
From the track to the garage to the track again, the vehicle undergoes stringent performance trials. On the track, engine temperatures are pushed to the max during repeated hot laps. On the road, camouflaged test prototypes blur past onlookers to ensure the same performance outcomes on natural surfaces. In the lab, tilt-dyno testing simulates extreme driving conditions to test engine durability and resilience. Systems are recalibrated and the car is tested again. Durability testing runs the engine through multiple life cycles. Refined, refreshed and returned to the track thousands of times to ensure unexpected measures are taken to create an unexpected car.
GRAN TURISMO 5
The driving experience is no longer limited to the track. Advanced digital integration takes vehicle testing from the road to the screen. It began when a camouflaged Stingray was discreetly dropped into Gran Turismo 5 for the public to test drive months before the vehicle was revealed to the world.
Before long, players joined the ranks of only five elite drivers certified to drive the prototype on the track. The real-world accuracy of Gran Turismo 5 enabled players to experience vehicle feel and capability through virtual simulation. And in the first-ever synchronized digital Corvette reveal, the camo came off the virtual car the same day the Stingray was revealed in Detroit, Michigan.

MAGNETIC SELECTIVE RIDE CONTROL
A soft ride on the road. A firm ride on the track. Available Third Generation Magnetic Ride makes an aggressive chassis ride comfortably. Electromagnetic coils transfer electric currents to adjust shock fluid consistency. Damping adapts every 10-15 milliseconds and fluid flows more or less freely to neutralize variable road conditions. A new dual-coil damper system reacts forty percent faster to enable enhanced ride comfort and body control.
ELECTRONIC LIMITED SLIP DIFFERENTIAL
Torque is optimized when properly divided between the two rear wheels. An intelligent Electronic Limited Slip Differential continuously modulates torque split to improve traction acceleration out of corners, stability on the highway and steering turn-in responsiveness.
Integration with StabliliTrak® and Performance Traction Management delivers seamless vehicle handling and optimal traction. Critical to performance. Indiscernible to the driver. More rear-wheel control means a new level of confidence.
