XTS Dazzles in Debut
We unveiled our all-new XTS at the recent Los Angeles Auto Show. Learn about some of the highlights of our latest luxury sedan and you’ll want to experience it for yourself.
Technologically speaking, the new XTS is easily the most advanced Cadillac ever.
The big news is a revolutionary new Cadillac User Experience – CUE for short – that reinvents the connection between car and driver. It’s a unique system that allows easy, comprehensive control of a wide variety of the car’s systems. Consider it a game changer in the luxury sedan category.
At its launch, the XTS will be the only luxury sedan on the market with a standard Magnetic Ride Control® suspension, which instantly and automatically adjusts shock absorber damping to adapt to road and driving conditions. The available All-Wheel Drive (AWD) was co-developed with world leaders Haldex. A sophisticated HiPer Strut front suspension and brakes by Brembo® – another world-leading firm – are standard. The standard engine is the respected 3.6-litre V6, which is the optional power plant in the Cadillac CTS.
Wide Array of Advanced Safety Technologies
XTS also furthers Cadillac’s impressive reputation for safety by offering a huge range of advanced safety technologies. Adaptive cruise control, front and rear automatic braking and automatic collision preparation are all available. The car also features a number of systems, like side blind zone alert, that are engineered to identify potentially dangerous situations and warn the driver in time to avoid them.
Style-wise, the new XTS also represents the highest evolution to date of Cadillac’s industry-leading Art & Science design philosophy. The look is bold, even a little futuristic, yet highly refined at the same time.
Built in Canada!
To be built exclusively in Oshawa, Ontario, the 2012 XTS delivers all the spaciousness, elegance and drama that our large Cadillac sedans have always been known for, along with revolutionary technology and style. Look for it on Canadian roads in the spring.
